I often wonder if I’ve lost my ability to fall. Today I stop wondering. Because today I will fly. And if you can fly … you never fall.

Astronomer. 

I could be looking at this beautiful shit all damn day, every damn day. 

You know what happened? Well … let me tell you …. 

When I was a kid I would always be watching Discovery Channel and NGeo etc. I loved animals and I loved the planets (which includes all the Aliens and world ending shows haha). So I was all like, “Yo, Mom, I wanna be an astronomer.” And she’s all like, “Elicia, do you really want to sit in a window-less, basement somewhere looking through a telescope all day long? You’re more outgoing than that. You’ll get bored so quickly.” I thought to myself … damn she’s right … but not entirely. 

I focused on the being bored part. I didn’t realize that what I would be looking at would be shit like this photo … 

I’m an idiot. I’m an idiot because I listen and follow other people too much. I’ve gotten better over the years … but wow. Just waiting for the day a friend is all like … yo we’re in VEGASSSS we should jump off this building into that pool 20 floors down … and well that be the end of me. 

Anyway … I totally regret not pursuing the whole astronomer thing.
